What’s Coming Up?
REVISED Sunday Night Meals - Please check the attachment to this email and look for what day you have been signed up to serve dinner. Please plan on feeding about 30 youth on Sunday nights. All paper goods will be provided by the church, you just need to have the food/drinks ready by 5:00. If your date does not work for you please contact Nicole (nicole@eastcobbumc.org). As you can see, there are two dates that we need some additional help. If you can help on Sunday, Sept 19 please respond to this email. Thank you for serving the youth in this way!
T-Shirts - The new youth t-shirts are now in! Please see Jim and bring $9 to receive your new shirt! Also, if you received a flocking t-shirt and haven't paid for it yet please turn $12 in to Jim as soon as possible.
Momentum Checks - The cost for the middle school retreat is $150. Please turn all checks in to Jim.
Homecoming Celebration - Please mark your calendars for Saturday, August 28th as the church hosts the Homecoming Celebration. We would like all youth to be present at the church at 3:30 to help get the games set up. The youth and mens club will then be in charge of clean up during the meal and afterwards. Thank you in advance for serving the church! We look forward to seeing you all there!
Sunday Night Youth- There will not be youth group on Sunday, Sept 5th due to Labor Day or Sunday, Sept 12. Our September Life Light Launch will be held on Saturday, Sept 11 and take the place of youth on the 12th.
Life Light Launch - September - Are you ready for some football? The youth group will be taking a day trip to Clemson, SC on Saturday, Sept 11 to see Clemson vs. Presbyterian. The cost for the football ticket is $16, plus money for dinner that evening. In order to attend, you must sign up on the link at the top of the email by Sunday, August 29th!! Please talk with Jim or email Nicole with any questions.
